Betty Joe Johnson

BETTY JOE COX JOHNSON, age 90, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 at her home with her daughter by her side. She was a member of Rocky Valley Baptist Church. She spent her life loving and making a home for her family and pets. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Hal Johnson; parents, Paul A. and Jessie Cox; sister and brother-in-law, Golda and Hubert Herron, Jr.; brothers and sisters-in-law, William A. Cox, Herbert and Mary Cox, Roscoe and Cecilia Cox, Gerald Cox, Faye and Dale Gordon; and niece, Judy Cox Shrader. She is survived by her daughter, LaDonna Johnson; brother and sisters-in-law, Riley and Alma Cox, and Barbara Cox; nieces, Pam Gordon and Cindy Fultz; nephews, Greg Cox, Paul Cox, Gerald Cox, Jr., Jeffrey Cox, Elden Cox and Terrell Cox; as well as many great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m. and will then proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service with Pastor John Fultz officiating.
