Betty Jo Jessie

BETTY JO JESSIE, age 86 of Kodak, TN, passed away peacefully and went to heaven to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. Betty was a member of Dumplin Baptist Church and active in the Golden Gems senior group. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tilman Swain Cate and Pearl Parker; stepdad, Raymond Haynes; several brothers and sisters; and the father of her children, Keith Jessie. Betty is survived by her children, Victoria Jessie, Kae (Larry) Huffaker, Gary Jessie, R. Jessie (Frankie) Tanner, and Kim Foody; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Jane Ousley, Nancy Church and Ruth Henderson. There will be a lie in state on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge Chapel from 2:00pm until 6:00pm. A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Cate Cemetery at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dumplin Baptist Church, 1843 W.
