Betty J. Gill, age 88 of White Pine, TN, passed away on November 4, 2026. She was born on January 22, 1938 in Anderson, Indiana.

Betty was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family deeply. She taught her children to follow God and do what he asks, and her family will remember her as a good mom, a best friend and a faithful woman of God.

She graduated from high school and went on to cosmetology school , becoming a cosmetologist. She loved the outdoors and going fishing and loved spoiling her grandbabies with potato chips and salsa.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Gill Sr., who passed away in April 2015, and by her grandson, Steven A Roskos, who passed away on May 4, 2016, Heather Nicole Roskos, who passed away on November 11, 1997.

She is survived by her four children; Joyce M Henderson of White Pine, TN, Sheryle A Dobson of Donaldsonville, Georgia, Rick Gill Jr. of Evarts, Kentucky and Kimberly K Watson of Panama City, Florida. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nancy M. Roskos and family of Osseo, Wisconsin, Courtney S. Gill, Kris Wolff, Missy Wolff, Chad Gill, Shannon Frei, Nikki Stevens, Marie Maish, Jason Maish, Phillip Morgan and Aiden Watson; her great grandchildren, Isaac R. Osborn, Lora Frei, Krue Frei, Rhett Frei, Joe Jr. Stevens, and Hailey Stevens.

Visitation will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 with funeral service to follow at 3:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home, 1806 Main St, White Pine, TN 37890.  The service will be officiated by Shawn Burgraff. She will be laid to rest in Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson Indiana on Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 11:00am, with Loose Funeral Home taking care of those arrangements.
