Betty Jo Dalton

BETTY JO DALTON, ornery as hell, bossy to the bone, and forever in control, has passed away. Likely because the good Lord knew better than to keep arguing with her. She died surrounded by the family she tolerated and the cats she loved.

She is survived by her sons, Dwayne and Curtis Dalton (both claiming to be her favorite), and her favorite daughter, Julia Blalock, though that title was subject to change based on Betty Jo’s mood, the weather, or if Julia pissed her off.

But let’s get one thing straight—her real joy were her five cats: Rambo, Mimi, Daisy, Tanga and Baby Lila.

Along with her five fur babies, she leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each one special, though she wanted to give a special shout out to Dalton Blalock (Lil D), her last and best surprise.
