Ben Grant May

Ben Grant May, age 71, of White Pine, TN passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer May and Pearl Wilson; son, Brandon May; daughter, Connie Heard; granddaughter, Amber Oglevee; and grandson, Benjamin May, Jr. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Janice May; daughters, Vickie Oglevee-Simkins and husband David of Riverbank, CA; and Wendy Bauguess and husband Brent of Riverbank, CA; sons, Brian May and wife Sherri of Talbott, TN, and Benjamin May and wife Lori of South Jordan, UT; 22 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Alan May and sister Della Whitmore of Modesto, CA. Ben was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He will be greatly missed by those he loved and served. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6301 Hiawatha Road, Morristown, Tn with funeral service following at 7:00 p.m. A graveside interment service will be held at the White Pine Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012.
