BEECHER D. COCHRAN, age 76 of Jefferson City, Tennessee, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at his residence. Lifetime member and deacon of Mill Springs Baptist Church and a lifetime member of Jefferson County Rescue Squad. Retired from Jefferson County EMS, with 30 years of service. Preceded in death by wife, Helen Prater Cochran; parents, Bruce and Sally Cochran. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Sylvia Cochran of Jefferson City; daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Scott Phillips of New Market; granddaughter, Jennifer Jackson of Jefferson City; grandson, Jackie D. Cochran II of Jefferson City; great grandson, Dustin Jackson; great granddaughters, Hannah and Kendall Jackson; special nephew, Jeff Prater; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2004 from Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Henry Davidson, Reverend Rusty Webster and Reverend Sonny Strange officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2004 at the funeral home to proceed to Mill Springs Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
