Audrey Ted Headrick

AUDREY “TED” HEADRICK, age 87 of the Reidtown Community, Newport, TN passed away peacefully Friday morning, May 12, 2017 at Newport Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Lucy Clevenger and the granddaughter of the late Melvin and Callie Clevenger. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Audrey was a graduate of Maury High School and following graduation she met and married her husband of 66 years, John Headrick. She was loving and devoted wife who enjoyed cooking and tending to her flower gardens. She is survived by her husband John; sisters, Ruth Sax and Norma Dean (Mike) French; nieces, Mitizi (Darrell) Donahoo, Melanie White and Melinda ( Darren ) Breeden; special friend, Evelyn Reese; special thanks to her faithful caregivers, Darlene Coulter, Vickie Caylor, Louise Hansel and Jo Ann Baker. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 15, 2017, 7:00pm at Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating. Interment graveside services will be Tuesday, 2:00 pm at French Broad Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE
