Arthur C. “Buddy” Easterday, age 75 of Dandridge, TN, went home to be with the Lord on October 31, 2026.
Buddy was born in Knox County, TN to the late Arthur C. Easterday, Sr. and Dorothy R. (Brunner) Easterday, who preceded him in death.
Buddy leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandra; his daughter, Sherry Cate; and his son, Bobby, and daughter-in-law, Mary of Sneedville, TN.
He was a proud and loving grandfather to Jennifer and her husband, Craig Patterson; Cody and his fiancé, Destiny Easterday of Sneedville, TN; Ashley and her husband, Kyle Keisler of Dandridge, TN; and Chelsea and her fiancé, Dustin Pepper of Sneedville, TN. He is also survived by two bonus grandchildren, Isaiah and Ava, and ten great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him so much joy.
He also leaves behind his nephews, Christ Bohanan and wife Kim, and Davey Strange; his nieces, Wendy and her husband Clay Cole; along with several cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Buddy proudly served his country as a veteran of the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1971. During his service, he was exposed to Agent Orange, which greatly affected his health. His service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Above all, Buddy loved the Lord. For 25 years, he was an active and devoted member of Dandridge Full Gospel Ministries, where he faithfully served his church in many ways. Whether teaching Sunday School, singing in the praise and worship team, leading worship, or lending a helping hand wherever he was needed, Buddy gave his time and heart to the church he loved. His faith was an important part of who he was, and he treasured his church family and friends dearly.
Buddy was more than a husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a man of faith, a proud veteran, and a blessing to the people fortunate enough to know and love him. His life was filled with love for his family, devotion to his faith, and a willingness to serve others.
Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort knowing he is no longer suffering and has finally made it to his heavenly home. The love he gave, the memories he made, and the faith he shared will live on through the many lives he touched.
He will be deeply loved, forever remembered, and dearly missed by all who knew him.
Service details will be announced in the coming days.
