ALVINO P. GILLETTE, age 65, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away on September 7, 2016. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Preceded in death by father, Alvin Gillette; mother, Maxcine Gillette Tuggle; step-father, Ello Tuggle; son, Alvino Gillette, Jr. He is survived by daughter, Miranda Gillette Hazlett of Washington; grandsons, Jarred Heacock of Las Vegas, NV, and Marcus Gillette of Iowa; granddaughter, Lindsey Gillette of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Gregory Tuggle and wife, Brenda; sister, Jacqueline Tuggle; devoted friend, Betty; many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Military graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway in Knoxville.
