W. Charles "Charlie" Williams

W. Charles “Charlie” Williams, age 60, of Dandridge, TN passed away October 8, 2020 at the University of TN Medical Center. He was retired from WSCC as Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine. He was currently employed as Training Center Coordinator with the Jefferson County EMS, and was the pastor of Jones Chapel and Mulberry Gap United Methodist Churches. He was also a 33rd degree Mason. Preceded in death by his parents, Lollen and Wanda Williams; and sister, Barbara Williams. Survived by wife, Tahra Williams; children, Wiley Williams, Andy Williams, Jessica Williams, Lawson Williams; grandchildren, Kayla, Charleigh, and Audreigh; sisters, Margie (Terry) Hackney, Ailcy (Barry) Collins; brother, Robert (Robin Wilson) Williams; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. Body will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2020 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Grants Chapel Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. Masonic graveside service. Brad Phillips and Rev. Ginger Isom will officiate the interment service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jubilee Project of the UMC, PO Box 657, Sneedville, TN 37869, or to Knoxville Scottish Rite Foundation Shoe Fund, PO Box 708, Knoxville, TN 37901 or on line at knoxvillescottishrite.org.
