TRENT EUGENE “GENE” COLEMAN, age 76 of Sevierville, TN passed away Sunday morning, February 24, 2019 at his home following an extended illness. He was member of the Fox United Methodist Church where had served as church school superintendent. Gene was retired from the Bush Bros and Co. after 50 years of service and enjoyed being a horse enthusiast. He was preceded in death by father and mother, Lloyd and Lettie (Thornton) Coleman; sisters, Agnes Finchum, Mary Nell Ivey and Kate Fox; brothers, Jay, Edward and Joe Coleman. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Sharp Coleman; children, Melanie (Harold) Rolen and Shannon ( Diana) Coleman; grandchildren, Seth Shields, Justin and Ray Coleman; step-granddaughters, Courtney and Caitlyn Rolen; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Herbert and LeVern Sharp; several nieces and nephews. The family extends a special thanks to caregiver, Teresa Grooms and Liz and Rhonda of Avalon Hospice. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2019, 4:00pm at Chestnut Hill Cemetery with Rev. Ken Lambert and Rev. John Clark officiating. There will not be a formal visitation, but friends may call to sign the register at their convenience on Tuesday and Wednesday at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE, TN
