Roberta Mae Felderman

Roberta Mae Felderman, 73, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018, in Knoxville, TN. She was born in Dubois, PA, to James Arthur Depew and Faye Linnea Beck, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, E. John Felderman; two sons, Jonathan H. Felderman of Hartford, TN, and James C. Felderman, his wife Carol, two grandchildren, Liam Felderman and Lily Felderman all of Falls Church, VA; a brother James E. Depew of Avon, OH; a sister Karen D. Stevens of Philadelphia, PA; a twin brother Robert C. Depew of Long Beach, CA; as well as several nieces and nephews. She received a BA degree from Muskingum College (Ohio) and an MS from Middle Tennessee State University, as well as certifications in school library and computer science. She operated a farm in South Dakota during the 1970’s, served several interim appointments at school libraries in TN, and was involved in various volunteer activities over the years. A memorial service will be held at the Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge, TN, on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will be in the St. John’s Lutheran Church cemetery, in St. Donatus, IA. Donations in memory of Roberta may be made to: Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
