Marion (Jr.) Woods

MARION “Jr.” WOODS, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Tennova North Medical Center with his wife, Brenda, by his side. He was born on July 17, 1950 and was retired from Asarco Young Mine after 23 years of service. Preceded in death by his parents, Marion “Dude” Woods and Martha Lorene “Sis” Woods; brothers, John, Bob and Harold Woods; sister, Shirley McGhee; brothers-in-law, Ronald Weston, Ronald McGhee, Marvin Crawford; sisters-in-law, Margie and Shirley Woods. He is survived by his wife of 52 ½ years, Brenda Woods; sons, Anthony Woods, Jerry (Terri) Woods; sisters, Betty Weston and Vina Crawford; grandchildren, Chris, Destiny, Alexis, Peyton, Elli and Mason; special uncle, Frank “Fuzzy” Love; special nieces, Angie Woods and Margaret Clowers; several other nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Mary Woods. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dennis Caldwell officiating. Body will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home.
