Joseph "Ben" Deering

Joseph “Ben” Deering, age 95 of White Pine passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. He attended Beth-Car United Methodist Church. Ben was a Navy Veteran and served during World War II, he was retired from BASF and was a member of the White Pine Bib Boys and White Pine Lions Club. Ben is preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Anna Deering, siblings, George Deering, Margie White, Fern Bible and Gene Deering. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Clara Price Deering, daughter, Teresa (Tim) White, grandson, Derek (Erin) Sutphin, sister, Betty (Doyle) Alexander, brother, John Deering and several nieces, nephews and other family members. Ben will be laid to rest with Military Honors during a private Graveside Service. Friends may call at their convenience on Sunday, March 22, 2020 between the hours of 1:00pm and 4:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine.
