John Nelson Balough

John Nelson Balough, age 88 of Dandridge, formerly of Canton , OH, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 18, 2020. He was a United State Marine Corp veteran and served during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lucille Butt Balough, sisters Marilyn and JoAnn also his daughter Deborah Joanne Balough. John is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carol Balough, son and daughter-in-law Tim and Lisa Balough, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, cousins, Elayne Toth and Franklin Kay Prochaska also several nieces, nephews and other family members. John will Lie in State at Manley Baptist Church on Sunday, July 26, 2020 between the hours of 3:00pm and 5:00pm. Military Graveside will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 in East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Hwy at 11:30am.
