Flossie Horton

Flossie Jarnigan Horton, age 84 of White Pine, passed away at Heritage Center on Sunday, June 17, 2018. She was a member of Dutch Bottoms Missionary Baptist Church and a retired sewer from Berkline. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Holly McDaniel Jarnigan, brothers, Merman Dean Jarnigan, Curtis Jarnigan, Willie A Jarnigan, Jackie L. Jarnigan and Beby James Jarnigan. She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years William “Ray” Horton, son, Bill Horton, sisters, Martilla “Tuner” McAmis, Betty Jo White, Benny Lou Simmons, Janice (Hal) Fox, Blanche (Rev. Bill) Russell and brother, Sammy (Linda) Jarnigan, sisters-in-law, Bonnie Jarnigan, Gloria Jarnigan, Daisy Burnham and Martha Stamper, brother-in-law, John Horton and several nieces, nephews and other family members. The family would like to express a very special Thank You to the Staff of Heritage Center for the wonderful care Flossie was given during her stay there. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, 7:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine, family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the service. Graveside Interment will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018, 11:00am in White Pine Cemetery.
