Donny Hugh Blalock

Donny Hugh Blalock, age 62 of Dandridge, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 after a brief illness. He was employed by Smoky Mountain Utilities and he was a loving and dedicated father and husband. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Blalock and Mary Hurst Lafollette and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Julia Blalock, children; Justin Blalock, Christy (Jason) Bochette, Eric (Tisha) Blalock and Dalton Blalock, 7 grandchildren, brothers-in-law, who helped care for him during his illness, Dwayne (Mary) Dalton and Curtis Dalton, mother-in-law, Betty Dalton and step-father, Winfred Lafollette, several nieces, nephews and other family members. The family would like to express a special Thank You to Terry, Derrick, Sam, Michael, Matthew and the crew at Smoky Mountain Utilities. Graveside Interment service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 in Middle Creek Cemetery at 11:00am. Friends may pay their respects on Friday, November 27, 2020 between the hours of 2:00pm and 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge. In consideration of the health and safety of all those attending the services, Farrar Funeral Home strongly encourages all CDC guidelines be followed, including the use of social distancing and facemasks.
