Grief Support Resources

Every person must cope with loss of a loved on his or her own terms.

Grief Support Resources

The emotional upheaval these trying times can cause is sometimes so overwhelming that even the support of friends and family may not help relieve the amount of sadness and grief you feel.

At Farrar Funeral Home we offer the following aftercare grief sessions:

"CARRY EACH OTHER" GRIEF SUPPORT MEETINGS                                                                                                                            These meet each Monday evening at 6 p.m. and each Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Jefferson City location.  These are informal, small groups who meet and share with each other about their journey of grief and their path to recovery from losing a loved one.  There is no charge for this and everyone is welcome. "Grief is too hard a journey to travel alone.  You need others wo walk alongside you to share the load." If you are interested, please let us know by e-mailing "[email protected]" or calling us at 865-475-3892.
