Thomas G. 'Tom" Robeson

Thomas G. “Tom” Robeson, age 84, of Jefferson City, TN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Life Care Center, Jefferson City with his family by his side. A long-time dairy farmer in Jefferson County, he graduated from Jefferson City High School and joined his father as partner on their Grade A Holstein dairy and crop farm. Tom was a loving father, grandfather, good friend, and a neighbor to all and a loyal Tennessee Vols Fan. He was a big man in stature, but possessed a tender heart and a smile for all. He was the youngest son of the late Robert H. and Nettie Murph Robeson. He is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Ruth Hatmaker Robeson; and brother, Lewis M. Robeson. He is survived by daughter, Diane R. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the loving and caring staff, along with his many resident friends, at Life Care Center of Jefferson City over the past 11 months, and appreciation to his long-time medical doctor and family friend, Dr. Dewayne Darby and his staff.
