Taylor J. Watkins

TAYLOR J. WATKINS, JR, age 92 of Baneberry, TN passed away Thursday morning, July 23, 2015 at Morristown –Hamblen Health Care Center following a brief illness. He was a retired Real Estate and Insurance sales agent and was an avid golfer. Taylor was a veteran of the Army Air Corp and World War II and was very patriotic. He will be remembered as being a strong family man of the Christian faith who enjoyed and loved his family. He loved doing outdoor activities and got his jeep stuck more times than he could count in the back of Baneberry. He is survived by his wife, Jane C. Watkins; children, Barbara (Harold) Adamson, Carol A. Watkins, Susan (Ken) Deischer, Taylor J. (Carol S.) Watkins, III and William C. (Celeste) Watkins; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Memorial gifts may be given in memory of Taylor Watkins to Jefferson Co. Nursing Home, 914 Industrial Park Rd. Dandridge, TN 37725 or the charity of your choice. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 27, 2015, 6:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Bradley officiating. The family will greet friends Monday from 5:00 to 6:00pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE
