SAMUEL “SAM” STALLINGS, Sr. age 80, of New Market, TN was called home to glory and went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2017. He loved the Lord and his family. He was a member of Thorngrove Baptist Church, and owner and operator of S & C Cartage until his retirement. Preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn Shackleford Stallings; parents, Raymond and Beatrice Stallings; sisters, Juanita Skeen and Jean Moore. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Stallings; children, Samuel F. Stallings, Jr. (Sharon), Sherri Onks, Rodney Stallings (Sheri), and Kevin Stallings (Rhonda); grandchildren, Brandi and Brent Stallings, Drake Onks, Megan Stallings and Kara Stallings; brothers and sisters, Robert Joe Stallings, Alma Paschal (Frank), Marilyn Halcomb (Lloyd); several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Pleasant Grove Piney Cemetery with Rev. Jerry DeZearn officiating.
