Ryan Phillip Hurst Carter

Ryan Phillip Hurst Carter of Dandridge, TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 20, 2017. He was 27 years old. He is survived by his wife, Megan Hurst Carter; parents, Eddie and Vicki Carter; brothers, Tommy Carter and his wife, Noelle, and Bryce J Carter and his wife, Bailee; nephew, Brayden; niece, Henley; grandparents, Thomas and Jean Carter, and Patricia Glover; in-laws, Mark and Jeannie Hurst; sister-in-law, Laura Hurst and Casey; aunts, Kay Traughber and her husband, Paul, Jodi Venier and her husband, Dave; uncle, Gary Glover and his wife, Debbie; cousins, Brian and wife, Lauren, Kristen, Morgan, and Braxton; and his puppy, Tucker Dale Jr. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Jack Glover. Ryan was born to Eddie and Vicki on May 23, 1990. He graduated with his Bachelor’s from Carson-Newman University in 2012 and received his Master’s of Divinity from McAfee School of Theology in 2015. He wed the love of his life, Megan, on June 1, 2013. He loved to serve the Lord and those around him. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Jefferson City with Dr. Randall O’Brien and Dr. Ross Brummett officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. .
