Nell Walters Mitchell

Nell Walters Mitchell, age 91 of New Market, TN passed away at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of New Market Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Fred “Ted” Mitchell, parents, Oscar N. and Lillie M. Walters, siblings, Mossie Lee Haworth, Hazel Butcher, John Walters, Ruth Loy, and Ed Walters. Survived by sister, Polly Stiner of Knoxville, TN, many wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends. Special thanks to the dedicated care givers at the Chandler House. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Saturday prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
