Michael Erich Dietz

Michael Erich Dietz, of Talbott TN, is now present with the Lord. He passed away Sunday September 25, 2016 at age 59. Mike succumbed of a terminal disease and was cared for by the Heritage Center in Morristown where he died peacefully. Mike was a long time resident of Talbott, a 1975 graduate of Jefferson High School, and employed by Mahle in Morristown for over 30 years. Mike is preceded in death by our beloved parents Erich and Inge Dietz, cousin Christina Wilson Carroll, and grandparents Anton and Marie Weber of Asheville, NC. Mike is survived and lovingly remembered by his son, Michael Dietz, his brothers Rick Dietz sister-in-law Linda Dietz, Ron Dietz, sister Doris Dietz Bishop, aunt, Anni Wilson , nephews, Colby Dietz, Tanner Dietz, nieces Inge Cantrell and brother-in-law Blake Cantrell, Jessica Dietz, Heidi Knieper, great nephews Tate and Hudson Cantrell, cousin Heidi Taylor, his long time partner Rosetta Rose, as well as many beloved extended family and friends. We lovingly acknowledge the many others whose lives crossed paths with his and were touched by him over the years. We wish to thank the caregivers with the Heritage Center, Four Seasons Hospice and Amedysis Hospice for their care of Mike and the family. Also a heartfelt thank you to the many others who have prayed and reached out to offer condolences. Mike's choice was to be cremated with Farrar Funeral Home of Jefferson City Tennessee, and the family will honor this. We ask in lieu of flowers, that you consider a donation to a hospice or charity you love or more importantly, reach out and love those around you now and share the flowers with them. Finally, we share, that Mike's final wishes were, that we remember him and "carry on".
