Judy Smith Simpson

JUDY SMITH SIMPSON, of New Market, TN, formerly of High Point, NC, went to her heavenly home on April 9, 2015. She was a member of Jefferson City Christian Church, and a registered nurse and case manager at Eckman Freeman. Judy was a devoted wife, mother, mimi and friend to all that knew her. Preceding her in death were her parents, William Alex Smith and Mayme Whicker Smith of High Point, NC. Survived by her husband, Joe Simpson; daughter, Kaci Leigh (Evan) Anderson of New Market, TN, Christopher (Jessica) Elliott of Raleigh, NC; step-sons, Brian Simpson of Jamestown, NC and Scott Simpson of Wilmington, NC; granddaughters, Meredith Grace and Caroline Elliott, Abigail Marie Anderson, Kaleigh and Sydnie Simpson; sisters, Arminia (Ray) Thomas of Myrtle Beach, SC, Joyce (Jim) Moore of Liberty, NC; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Jefferson City Christian Church, followed by the memorial service at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Bob Emmert and Rev. Ray Thomas officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Monday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
