John Thomas Knowling

John Thomas Knowling, age 74 of Talbott, passed away at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center from complications after suffering a massive stroke. He was the son of the late Ray and Hazel Knowling. He is preceded in death by his son Tommy Knowling and brother, Keith (Lucky) Knowling. Survivors include his wife, Ella Vivian Knowling, daughter, Kathy (Tommy) Hayes, grandchildren, Andrew (Amber), Megan (Cody), great-grandchildren, Savannah, Blayson, Christopher, Bailey and Tristan, sister, Mary Ruth Hopkins and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a member and Deacon at White Oak Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 4-7:00pm at White Oak Grove Baptist Church on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 with the funeral service to follow at 7:00pm with the Rev. Tom Wells officiating. Graveside Interment Service will be on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in White Pine Cemetery, family and friends will gather there at 1:50pm for the 2:00pm service.
